Jonathan Adler’ s Retro-chic Home

Today, Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan‘ s beautiful retro-chic home in Shelter Island is in our scoop. This house is a result of great imagination and no fear decor idea. The fabrication and dressing from walls to floors all are result of a play and experiment style which definetly works out perfectly at the end. Bright colors, bold geometrical patterns, overall retro feeling cought by using vintage furnitures and collectable items have mixed by excusite design sense for decoration of the relaxing island home. The  house is an eye catcher with the open and clean modern style architecture. The outside is both relaxing and welcoming not too cold, not too bohemian just like the space inside. Everything is in balance not one piece missing and not one piece more than needed.  Dwelling is defining itself clearly as a good sample of a creative nest of a designer.  A happy, bright, unusual, fun and artistic personality surrounds the space. Standing out lighting fixtures, groovy furnitures in interesting forms, lively patterns,  custom made ceramic tiles, Moroccan Beni Ourian and Adler’ s rugs, colorful fabrics, throws and pillows, Jonathan Adler‘ s artworks, cute fire pit in the middle of the livingroom  are the key pieces which turn this home into a design heaven. In a word, the house is loaded by signifacant ideas for the people who are looking for some good inspiration for a retro-chic style home. Enjoy!
